Ka Ying Rising, a leading sprinter from Hong Kong and favourite for the Everest, has arrived in Australia and is currently in quarantine at Canterbury Park. The horse made the journey just before a typhoon struck Hong Kong and is reportedly adapting well to the new environment, appearing more relaxed than in his home stables. 

The five-year-old has an impressive record with 13 consecutive wins and is being compared to legendary racehorses such as Black Caviar and Winx. Ka Ying Rising is aiming to become the first international horse to win the prestigious $20 million Everest race.

Ka Ying Rising has won 13 races in a row and is already starting to draw comparisons with the likes of Black Caviar and Winx.
