Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman was hospitalized after experiencing a fall near his home in Braddock during an early morning walk. According to a statement from his staff, the incident was caused by a ventricular fibrillation flare-up, which led to lightheadedness and minor facial injuries.

Fetterman was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital as a precaution and is reportedly doing well while under observation. The senator expressed gratitude to medical personnel and maintained a lighthearted tone following the incident.

They explained during an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock. They say, as out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh. Upon evaluation, it was established he had something called a ventricular fibula fibrillation flare up that led to the senator feeling lightheaded, falling to the ground, hit his face with minor injuries. Now, Senator Fetterman, who is often pretty, uh, he's funny in the way he talks right here is what he had to say after getting a ride to the hospital. He said, if you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now. By all accounts, he's doing well, getting observed and we'll continue following this story. Of course, the senator has made headlines before for some health concerns, but he is choosing to strike a lighter tone. It sounds like he's grateful to the E. M. T s and doctors and nurses who were there to help him.
