Attorney Andrew Kobos, representing Jane Doe, states his firm is representing over 50 individuals with similar allegations and believes hundreds may have been affected. Fort Hood officials have responded by contacting all of Dr. McGraw's patients and establishing a dedicated call center for inquiries. Some allegations date back to 2021, and further legal action against the Army is planned.

Now to a developing story that we're following out of Texas. A lawsuit filed against the Army and a military OB-GYN is alleging years of sexual assault and abuse against women on multiple bases. So let's get to our breaking news correspondent, Chanel Call in the CBS Newsroom in New York. She's been following this story. So Chanel, what have you learned about this complaint? Well, Jules, here is the complaint. It is 13 pages long, and it was filed on behalf of a woman named Jane Doe. Obviously, because of the nature of this lawsuit, her identity here is protected. Now, before I go through the details of this complaint, I just want to warn you and our viewers, some of these details are disturbing. Essentially, Jules, this lawsuit is alleging that Jane Doe suffered sexual violations as well. She was secretly recorded, the lawsuit says, by Dr. Blaine McGraw. This was the Army doctor, the Army gynecologist at Fort Hood. I want to read you part of the complaint here. There's a section that says, quote, over the course of roughly seven to eight appointments, Dr. McGraw groped, touched, and examined Jane Doe in ways that had nothing to do with healing, performing invasive breast and vaginal examinations in ways that were unnecessary, humiliating, and profoundly violating, and which had nothing to do with the medical issues for which she sought care. It also notably goes on to say, quote, the Army allowed this conduct to occur. So earlier today, I spoke to Andrew Kobos. This is the attorney who's representing Jane Doe in this lawsuit. Here's what he said when I asked him about just how many victims he believes there are in this case. Listen. We have filed suit on behalf of one client, and we have named her as a Jane Doe, but we represent well over 50 individuals who are bringing allegations both against this doctor and against the Army for their neglect and their oversight in allowing this to continue. So you believe there are 50 or more women who were impacted by this? I believe that there were hundreds of women, and I know that there are 50 who have come forward to my firm and have sought representation. I know that there's other law firms out there who are representing victims in this case, and I know that there are plenty more who are unaware that this doctor potentially photographed them or that the procedures that he was conducting were outside the bounds of medicine. And so, yes, I believe that this is an extensive case, potentially involving hundreds of victims. And, Jules, for its part, Fort Hood is also responding. They put up a statement on their website. I want to show you what that looks like. Part of it says that Fort Hood officials are now contacting all of the doctor's patients. They're also providing them with a number for dedicated call centers, so if anyone has any questions, they can have them answered there. And I also want to mention, as well, that Cobos is saying that some of these allegations date back to 2021. He also says, notably, that he's planning to file a second federal claim, this one against the Army. Yeah, it is a disturbing complaint, for sure. Chanel Call, thank you for bringing it to light.
