Surveillance cameras were destroyed during the attack, and residents reported that four people were hospitalized while others suffered from smoke and pepper spray inhalation.

Residents say such attacks are part of a recurring pattern, with little intervention from the Israeli army even when evidence is available. The community, now surrounded by at least five illegal Israeli settlement outposts, describes a growing sense of despair and fear, stating that the violence aims to force them off their land.

People say even when they have evidence, the Israeli army won't help stop settler violence. Four people were taken to hospital. The rest suffered smoke and pepper spray inhalation. If this home is being attacked and I want to save the people there, I cannot. The settlers came from all sides. You can't even defend yourself, let alone defending others. It could have been worse, Yousef Kaabneh says. The families moved out the women and children months ago. A similar arson attack last October left six homes destroyed, two people injured and dozens of sheep stolen. Residents tell us they're defenseless, trying to survive and stay on their land, with little protection and almost no help. The community is now surrounded by at least five illegal Israeli settlement outposts. It's a story repeated across the occupied West Bank, a pattern, a clear message, leave or else. Forget about us in Khalat al-Sidra. They are targeting all other Bedouin communities. Then they're coming for everyone, villages and cities. This is a cancer targeting us all. But the smell of burnt homes still fills the air and a sense of despair is growing. People here say Israeli settler attacks want to force them out of this land. But with these settler attacks becoming relentless, Palestinians say even if they move, nowhere is safe.
