The strike is part of a wider escalation of attacks across the Gaza Strip, with nearly 100 Palestinians reported killed in a single day. Many residents have been left homeless and continue to search for missing loved ones amid widespread destruction.

A deadly Israeli airstrike has once again turned a densely populated residential block into rubble, this time in a shattered refugee camp west of Gaza City, where the attack resulted in killing many Palestinians and dozens were injured, including women and children, and transported to the nearest hospital. The scale of devastation we are seeing in the frame is unprecedented. Neighbors are coming together and exerting collective efforts just to get their beloved ones out from the debris of this bombed out residential building. What happened to us was that we were sitting at home around midnight. Suddenly, the house collapsed on everyone inside, children, adults, and elderly people in their 70s and 80s. Many were martyred. Thank God we managed to get the children out, but there were still a few people under the rubble. Even now, right before your eyes, we're still trying to pull them out. What's mentioned is that a shattered refugee camp buildings are built next to each other, so it's impossible to target and hit a residential building without the others being affected due to the intensity of the bombardment. Suddenly, it felt like an earthquake. We had no idea what was happening. As you can see, a whole neighborhood collapsed. Seven little kids died here. Over there, 10 more children. The only adult was an old man, around 70 years old. What was their fault? There were no fighters here, not a single one. We honestly don't know what to do. We're still searching for our children. With the ongoing, staggering escalation of attacks by the Israeli military targeting residential buildings, thousands of Palestinians are left with nowhere to go.
