Beautiful Boston, revolutionary Boston. We're so excited to be here. The thing about Boston is when people think of it, they think of the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre. Maybe they jump to Charles River, they visit Harvard or MIT, but there is so much more to Boston than that. To get an insider's tour, I brought in Chris Tanaka of WBZ, my sweater brother. He's a local historian around here, co-anchor of The Morning Show. He showed me the things off the beaten path. Take a look. Chris, how are you, man? What's going on? Long time no see. I feel like I'm playing Deep Right Center right now. Geez, you really did order a thing or two. I did tell them to put it on your card. Ha ha ha ha ha. You know, if baseball is your religion, Fenway Park is your highest church. This actually used to be the opposing teams' batting cages. Hmm. If you're watching the game, and you have to take a bathroom break, you don't have to miss a thing. You kidding me? No, you see that window right there? That's a bathroom. That's a bathroom. Beacon Hill. Brooklyn-esque. Brooklyn is Boston-esque. This is Acorn Street. It feels even older than Fenway. It is like stepping back in time. Oliver Wendell Holmes, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Robert Frost, they all lived in this neighborhood. It's kind of like ground zero of the great literary movement of the late 1800s. ♪ Take a minute, take a day ♪ And if you pivot around, the incline gives it this instant rhyme or delay. ♪ Freeze frame paradise, gonna get there, then let's go ♪ So we've done some sports, we've done some history. And then of course there's this deeply rooted, almost comedic cynicism that New Englanders have. The worldview is cynical to the point of comedy. I think that's in part because of the weather. And you're a guy who lived in Honolulu. Hey, who's this weirdo? Hold on a second. Oh, hey! One more thing, of course, the sports. Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins. And Pat Patriot, my guy, right here.
