Tim David's powerful 74 off 38 balls helped Australia set a target of 186, but India's Washington Sundar led the visitors to victory. Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne continued his strong form in domestic one-day cricket, scoring his third century of the season for Queensland.

Head was out for six last night as India levelled the T20 series at one apiece with a five wicket win in Hobart. Washington's Sundar took the game away from the hosts against an Aussie attack without the red hot Josh Hazlewood. Sean Abbott will also leave the T20 squad and return to NSW as shield team to play Victoria next week. He finished with none for 56 and went at 16 and over. The Aussie set India 186 to win thanks to a brutal knock from Tim David. 74 of 38, including five sixers, one of them the longest in T20 international history. Meanwhile, Marnus Labershain continues making runs at the right time, smacking a ton off 109 balls for Queensland in their one dayer against NSW. His third one day cup century this season.
