Almost 500 people have been arrested during a pro-Palestine rally in London. Demonstrators clashed with police as hundreds displayed signs supporting Palestine Action, a protest group banned by the British government.

Police in London arrested more than 460 people during protests in support of Palestine Action, an organisation recently classified as a terrorist group by the UK government. Among those detained were elderly and disabled individuals. Protesters gathered in Parliament Square, displaying placards and banners, and some reported being charged under the Terrorism Act. 

Similar rallies occurred in Spain, Germany, Chile, and Argentina, reflecting global support for the Palestinian cause. In Israel, families of hostages held demonstrations, urging for increased food supplies to those held in Gaza.

Hundreds descended on London's Parliament Square, claiming a spot on the grass with posters face down. Crowds then flipped their signs in an act of defiance. I was arrested for holding up a banner that these people are holding up, I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action. I have been charged under the Terrorism Act. Last month, the UK government made it a criminal offence to support or be a member of the organisation. It's outrageous that they have been judged to be a terrorist organisation. In nearby central London, thousands marched through the streets. Around the globe, rallies were also held. In Spain... Gaza! Gaza! Gaza! ..Germany... I could be Palestinian, so I think we all have the responsibility. ..Chile and Argentina. Gaza! Gaza! Gaza! While in Israel, grieving families staged a demonstration calling for more food to be supplied to hostages in Gaza. We eat all the fasulia and half of the pita bread. Such is not enough.
