A group of life-sized puppet animals, known as the herds, has completed a 20,000-kilometre journey from Kinshasa in the Congo rainforest to the Arctic Circle. Animated by over 1,000 puppeteers and constructed from recycled metal and cardboard, the puppets travelled through 11 countries and participated in 56 public events. 

The symbolic migration aimed to dramatise the global impact of climate change, with local animals joining the herd along the route. The project, organised by The Work, concluded at Nordkapp in the Arctic Circle, highlighting the urgency of climate action and fostering community engagement across Africa and Europe.
