It's been five months since we've seen a single egg or a single piece of meat, and there are barely any sweets. A somber mood also in the occupied West Bank, where around 400 Palestinians have been killed in clashes with security forces since the start of the war. In Hebron, Muslims are celebrating with religious rituals only, prohibiting all celebrations and decorations in streets. Despite a diplomatic push from the US, Qatar and Egypt, ceasefire talks in Cairo have come to a standstill. Israel has previously warned of a military offensive into Rafah in southern Gaza if the hostages being held by Hamas aren't home by Ramadan.
