Some, like the family that was targeted, left Palestine to avoid the violence, only to find it here. Osama Abdullah, now a doctor, left the Palestinian territory as a teenager. I have a son. He's seven years old. I can't even fathom what this boy's parents are going through. We're not angry. We are frustrated. We are sad. We are hurt. But what people are doing is that they're becoming more spiritual, and they're coming together, and they're becoming united, right? And they're just asking for people to come and stick to the truth and put water on the fire. As that fire rages in Gaza, Muslims here in the U.S. are facing the heat far from that conflict.
