The results are expected to be officially announced this Monday. This march today is being held peacefully. We're not destroying anything, we're not causing trouble. All the people are asking for is the truth from the ballot box. Tomorrow, Monday 27th, Cameroon must know nothing but the truth. The people want only the truth of the vote. That's all we're asking for, nothing else. We're Cameroon, a democracy. We know that, and we respect the electoral code. But waiting two weeks, we cannot accept that. Why have these results been delayed so much? From the 26th to the 23rd, and now back to the 27th. What are we waiting for in this country? We will want change. The scenes in the streets led to clashes with police forces. At least four people have died so far. As several districts of the city were overtaken by demonstrators, police and anti-riot gendarmes reportedly used live ammunition in the New Bell neighbourhood in Douala. Few people were hit by bullets, and others are reported to be in intensive care. Across the country, tensions are rising, as the cities of Garoua, Maroua, Kali and others echo the call to protest.
