The lawsuit stemmed from comments made on a podcast, where Sharpe and Johnson allegedly made false claims regarding Tillman's marital status after her appearance at an Usher concert went viral. 

Tillman, who is the director of the Harold Washington Cultural Center and a homeschool advocate, stated that the claims had an impact on her personal and professional life. Following the dismissal, Tillman expressed satisfaction with the outcome and indicated her desire to move forward without further legal proceedings.
