It came as a record number of tickets were sold, more than 100,000 fans packed into Optus Stadium over the two-day run, but today, on what was meant to be an almost sold-out day three, fans have instead flocked to the pub. The Barmy Army consoling themselves with a cold pint instead of a day in the stands. I've spoken to a number of them who've said they'll spend the extra time exploring Perth. We're absolutely gutted because we had tickets for day three and four, we couldn't get tickets for one and two, and this is it. Not going to watch a rerun as much, that's for sure. I suppose Perth might have lost an opportunity for the next three days really, for the excitement, the vibe. Go home. Unlucky. Maybe get an early flight home. Go home, yeah. The quick finish has also hit Cricket Australia where it hurts, with the organisation expected to lose millions of dollars in revenue. Chris, it's been confirmed day three and four ticket holders will get their money back, but it's still going to be a tough recovery for the English fans. Thanks Abby.
