Ohtani's achievement places him among only 11 players to hit three home runs in a postseason game, joining legends such as Reggie Jackson and Babe Ruth. His dual contributions as both pitcher and hitter were instrumental in the Dodgers' sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers and their advance to a 26th World Series appearance.

Up and over the roof! And his performance from the mound was just as sterling. And then in the seventh inning, an already remarkable performance became legendary. Ohtani did it! Ohtani! Ohtani has done it again! His third home run! He had a hell of a game, man. We are so blessed to be able to be a part of it. It was a great night. Ohtani joins an exclusive club. Only 11 players, including Reggie Jackson and Babe Ruth, have hit three home runs in a postseason game. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated the obvious. There's a reason why he's the greatest player on the planet. What he did on the mound, what he did at the bat, he created a lot of memories for a lot of people.
