First of all, Pat, welcome to Newsmax, my friend. Ed, the pleasure's mine, thank you. This is fantastic. Yeah, and the city we love, and we've had breakfast together and talked about this. It's poised right now to maybe have a Muslim socialist as mayor who says he wants to defund the police force he used to serve under. Defund the police, what could go wrong? Nothing can go right. You know, the mind reels from it. We've gone down this path before. This guy is in la-la land. I mean, who's gonna take care of business? Guys like him? I mean, to be very honest, even the concept of defunding the police is madness of a biblical level. We went through this during the summer of love in 2020 after the killing of Floyd. We learned then, and we know now, after 1,000 businesses were burned to the ground, 800 officers went to the hospital in New York, 700 vehicles were also burned, NYPD vehicles. Defund the police at your own great peril. I suggest the exact opposite, the exact opposite. This guy's a cuckoo clock, Ed. Yeah, but he might be the mayor. And he has also said he would arrest the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, if he ever visited the city, something typically the prime minister does for the UN General Assembly in the fall. Here is his interview with former MSNBC host, Mehdi Hassan. Let's watch that. Mayor Mamdani, would he welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu to New York City for whatever he comes for, given the U.S. is not a signatory to the ICC, so he can travel to the U.S., unlike a lot of other countries? Would a mayor Mamdani welcome Benjamin Netanyahu to the city? No, as mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. This is a city that our values are in line with international law. It's time that our actions are also. So he wants to arrest the man who just worked with President Trump to probably decimate Iran's nuclear program. They should get the Nobel Peace Prize for that. This man wants to put Netanyahu in prison. Your reaction? It's a rare occasion, Ed, where I'm actually at a temporary pause for words of response. I think his, the mayor wannabe has maybe only a passing familiarity with the penal laws that relates to the crimes in New York State and the criminal procedure law. There's all manner of elements involved in that. The reality of him placing Netanyahu in leg irons anytime soon is absolutely never gonna happen. And just the fact that his mind went down that path is very, very informing and seriously troubling. This guy needs a checkup from the neck up, my man. Yeah, I like that phrase. No question. And this comes at a time where New York City, along with a lot of other cities, are under threat because of this tension, this crisis in the Mideast. Here is Pam Bondi, the Attorney General on Capitol Hill talking about the threat from sleeper cells. Well over 1,000 have entered. Yes, I don't know if it's quite up to 1,500, but yes, it's well over 1,000 have entered our country. And I can tell you we are on high alert and everyone is looking at that very closely. Now, what she's referring to is that in the latter years under Biden-Harris, well over 1,000 Iranian nationals came in. Several hundred of those were apparently pushed out because there were concerns, but there are others still here. And I gotta tell you, ICE on social media the last couple of days keeps posting photos and videos, some of these Iranian nationals getting popped right now because they have extremist backgrounds, my friend. And these are the photos of some of these folks put out by the Department of Homeland Security. And yet Biden and Harris let them in. Well, Biden was fully asleep at the switch during the period he was masquerading as the president during that period when he allowed thousands and thousands of undocumented, unvetted, non-background checked, I call them Ed, criminal ghosts. These folks are ghosts. They are phantoms in the night. There was no photo documentation. There was no fingerprint, no DNA swipe. There was no pedigree data or intel gathered when they just flew through the border while he was masquerading away as the president. And now the chickens are home to roost. So the bad thing is we have thousands and thousands. The big question is how many? The sad answer, no one knows, but we have our own ghosts and we're very, very, very skilled at it. And what I'm talking about is the intelligence apparatus of the American law enforcement apparatus in terms as it relates to getting undercovers very close to bad guys, gaining intel data and information, building cases and stopping these animals from going operational with their terrorist plots. Because I do believe that they will make attempts. I genuinely do believe, it's terrifying. I do believe it. They said so much in a private message to President Trump a few days before the bomb landed. They're not in the habit of bluffing, Iran. We know that for the last 46 years. But the reality is we have our own ghosts and what Biden did was he really put us in harm's way because these guys aren't even needles in a haystack, Ed. They're needles in a pile of needles.
