Texas is expected to endure several consecutive days of dangerous heat, with air temperatures climbing into the 90s and some areas, including Dallas, reaching triple digits. AccuWeather's real-feel temperature forecasts indicate values could rise as high as 115°F, posing significant health risks.

While some regions may see showers and storms, particularly in West Texas and the Gulf area, these are not expected to bring substantial relief to Central and East Texas, where the heat and humidity will remain intense. The hot conditions are forecast to persist across much of the state and extend into neighboring regions, including Oklahoma and the Mid-South.

Days of dangerous heat in the forecast for Texas

But even as we head into Thursday, yes, we will see some expanding rain chances there across the Gulf, even some good rain chances there across West Texas, the Texas Panhandle into Kansas. More showers, more storms here across the Gulf, but it's not gonna make much of a difference there for Central and Western parts of Texas.
