NASCAR Xfinity Series race winner Connor Zilisch has suffered a broken collarbone after falling from his car while celebrating at Watkins Glen. The JR Motorsports driver was climbing out of his car when the window net beneath his foot slipped.

NASCAR Xfinity driver Connor Zilish was hospitalized after a fall during post-race celebrations at Watkins Glen. Zilish, who had just won the race, fell from the cage stand, knocking himself unconscious. He was taken to hospital where he is reported to be stable and communicating with doctors.

Earlier in the race, Zilish was involved in an incident that sent his teammate Shane Van Gisbergen into the wall after a tap. The event also featured a significant crash involving a dozen cars, caused by Austin Hill during his return to racing following a ban for a previous incident.

Earlier at Watkins Glen Zilish took out teammate Shane Van Gisburg in a tap sending the supercar's gun into the wall at high speed. SVG had just taken the lead with 17 laps to go. With 10 laps to go there was an even bigger crash involving a dozen cars. Austin Hill he caused the chaos in his return to racing after a ban for intentionally causing a crash last month.
