Just before the break, Pau Victor capitalised on poor Benfica defending to fire Braga into the lead, sending the home crowd into raptures. The Eagles responded brilliantly after the restart though, Frederik Auersnes unleashing a spectacular strike into the top corner to restore parity. Despite Ricardo Horta's late red card for a second booking, ten-man Braga held firm to earn a precious point. For Mourinho and Benfica, two dropped points that could prove costly in the title race.
