While the World Heritage title does not provide financial support, it offers increased international attention and cultural prestige. Italy remains the country with the most World Heritage sites, with examples such as Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, while other renowned sites worldwide include the Great Wall of China, Egypt's Pyramids of Giza, and India's Taj Mahal.
