A mass of Arctic air is forecast to move into the United States, causing a significant drop in temperatures and wind chills across a wide region. Temperatures are expected to range from near freezing to between 10 and 20 degrees below zero, with some areas experiencing unusually early cold for the season, including Nashville, Tennessee.

By the weekend, cities such as Chicago and Minneapolis will see high temperatures of only 10 degrees and 1 degree, respectively. The cold air is also expected to extend into the Northeast and New England, marking a widespread early-season cold snap.

The much advertised, well advertised Arctic air that spills in this weekend. You can see these temperatures. They go from near zero to the near freezing mark, all the way to 10 to 20 below zero. And that includes some of these tens. Look at this. All the way as far south as Nashville, Tennessee. This is pretty early in the season to see these kind of temperatures. So Sunday, it's, it's, you know, very obvious where that Arctic air is in place. Look at the difference between Nashville and Atlanta, Chicago, your high temperature only 10 degrees, Minneapolis, best we can do is one degree. And eventually Lynette, that's going to spill up into the parts of the Northeast and New England too.
