There's also mounting domestic pressure for a deal with Hamas so Israeli hostages held in Gaza would be released in exchange for a pause in fighting. We can't leave them there. We just can't. This is our family. This is my blood, okay? Israel and Hamas have not been able to agree in months but in a positive sign Israel is now sending its negotiating team to Qatar to re-engage in talks brokered by Arab countries and the U.S. Sasha Petrosik, CBC News, Toronto.
