In response to questions about the potential success of the ceasefire agreement, Trump stated that he is "not confident," referencing the challenges in maintaining the agreement.

In a move that may have regional implications, Trump has lifted sanctions placed during the Biden administration on Israeli settler groups and individuals in the West Bank. These sanctions, previously viewed as measures to enhance peace and security, have been reversed, indicating a potential shift in U.S. policy towards the region. Bezalel Smotrik, the Finance Minister, publicly welcomed Trump's decision.
