A 17-year-old male was shot in the face at the Ocean County Mall in Tom's River, New Jersey, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office. The incident, described as a targeted attack, occurred while the victim was sitting in a common area and attempting to walk away from the confrontation. 

The victim was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition. Police are searching for a suspect described as a Black male, last seen leaving the area in a black or gray Mercedes, wearing gray sweatpants, black Air Forces, and a gray sweatshirt. No information about the weapon used has been released.
