Authorities in Houston have arrested Floyd William Parrott in connection with the 1990 murders of Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson, known as the Lover's Lane murders. New DNA evidence, matched through a federal database, led investigators to Parrott, who was apprehended in Nebraska and is being extradited to Texas to face capital murder charges.

Parrott, who lived near the crime scene at the time and has a history of previous criminal allegations, denies knowing the victims. The Harris County District Attorney has stated the case will now proceed to prosecution, and officials emphasized their ongoing commitment to delivering justice for the victims and their families.
