Sony has announced that prices for the PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal will increase starting April 2nd, with the base PS5 rising to $649.99 US and the PS5 Pro to $899.99. The company attributes the price hikes to ongoing global economic challenges, tariffs, and increased component costs due to the AI boom. 

In other gaming news, Nintendo confirmed Fox McCloud will appear in the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy movie, voiced by Glenn Powell. Additionally, rumors suggest a new Star Fox game and a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake are in development, with potential releases in late 2026 and beyond.
