The Hildebrandt family first noticed the bright yellow bird at their feeder and confirmed its rarity through online research and avian experts.

Experts explain that the yellow coloring is likely due to a genetic condition affecting pigmentation, making sightings exceptionally uncommon. Since February, the cardinal has become a daily visitor, much to the delight of the family, who continue to enjoy and document this extraordinary occurrence.
