Reports have emerged that dozens of pages of Department of Justice files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case remain withheld, with some possibly containing allegations involving Donald Trump. The Trump administration has denied any wrongdoing, but questions persist about the transparency and completeness of the file release process.

Separately, new legislation has been introduced in Congress to ban taxpayer funds from being used for payouts or reimbursements to individuals convicted in connection to the January 6th Capitol riot. The bill, currently supported mainly by Democrats, responds to concerns over rioters seeking financial compensation or reimbursement for court-ordered penalties.
