Marine Tendelier, the head of the Greens, is among the leading candidates for the prime minister's position from the Popular Front Left-Wing Alliance. Tendelier's political career includes combatting far-right politics as a councillor in her hometown of Aisne-en-Beaumont. She is known for her consensus-driven approach to governance.

Olivier Faure, the leader of the Socialist Party, is also a contender for the prime ministerial post. Faure's low-key demeanor is seen as potentially beneficial in navigating France's volatile political landscape.
