Although Kretsch did not win any individual stages, his NSN development team provided crucial tactical support, allowing him to maintain a two-minute lead over Johannes Ademierz.

The final stage was won by Eritrea's Enoch Mouliboran, while Rwanda's Samuel Nyunguru finished 16th as the top local rider. Kretsch, who took the yellow jersey after stage 4 in Arubavu, successfully defended his lead through the end of the race.
