Surveys indicate that 75% of Nigerians have experienced online gender-based violence, and over half of women and girls across Africa have faced technology-facilitated abuse. Despite legal frameworks like Nigeria's Cyber Crimes Act, survivors often do not report incidents due to fears of harassment, victim blaming, and further exposure. Advocates are calling for stronger law enforcement and survivor-centered support to address this growing crisis.
