FedEx has become the first major U.S. company to sue the Trump administration for a refund of tariffs paid under a policy the Supreme Court recently ruled unconstitutional. The company claims in its filing that it suffered financial injury from the tariffs and is seeking to recover the funds.

The Supreme Court's decision affects up to $175 billion collected since the tariffs were imposed, but did not specify what should happen to the money already collected. Thousands of other companies have similar cases pending, and experts warn that resolving these disputes will be complex and could take years. Treasury officials have stated that consumers are unlikely to receive any refunds unless Congress takes action.
