An explosion occurred at the Accurate Energetic Systems military explosives facility in McEwen, Tennessee, resulting in eighteen people missing and at least four hospitalized. The blast, which was felt and heard miles away, caused significant destruction, leaving only debris and charred vehicles at the site. 

Authorities have stated that the cause of the explosion is still under investigation and could take weeks to determine. Officials have assured the public that there is no ongoing danger of further explosions, but have urged residents to stay away from the area while emergency services and investigators work at the scene.
