The Helix, Pivotal's latest model, is currently sold for $200,000 and is designed for recreational use, with a battery life of 15 to 20 minutes and a simple licensing process.

Other startups, like Archer Aviation, are planning to use multi-passenger EVTOLs for events such as the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Experts note that while the technology is promising, integrating these aircraft into existing airspace systems will present challenges.
