Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Familia basilica has reached its full height of 172.5 meters after more than 140 years of construction. The milestone was achieved with the installation of a 17-meter high white cross, making it the tallest building in Barcelona and completing the exterior of the towers designed by Antoni Gaudí.

While the main structure is now finished, work on the facades and interior is ongoing. The entire project is expected to be fully completed within the next decade, continuing the realization of Gaudí's original vision.
