Jackie and Shadow, the iconic bald eagle pair residing in Big Bear, California, have welcomed their first eggs of the year. Eagle eggs typically hatch in about 35 days, but this pair's eggs usually take closer to 38 or 39 days to hatch. 

The nesting season for bald eagles runs from January through April, and Jackie and Shadow have previously raised eaglets in 2019, 2022, and 2025. Their nest, located in the San Bernardino National Forest, is watched by thousands via a livestream operated by Friends of the Big Bear Valley.
