A giant Kermit the Frog statue, once a landmark at Hollywood's Chaplin Studio, has been relocated to Atlanta following the sale of the studio in 2024. The Henson family arranged for the 900-pound sculpture to be donated to the Center for Puppetry Arts, where it will undergo restoration before being permanently installed.

Museum staff are currently determining the final placement for Kermit, who is expected to become a new feature of Atlanta's skyline. The statue, which is dressed as Charlie Chaplin, is reported to be in good condition and will soon make its public debut after some conservation work.
