By Friday morning, the system is forecast to intensify, with a slight risk of severe weather, including wind, hail, and tornadoes, particularly in the Deep South.

Areas in Mississippi and Alabama are highlighted for potential severe storms and tornadoes, while the threat of flooding remains significant. The forecast may be adjusted as the event approaches, and Georgia is expected to remain unaffected in the early stages of the system.

Wednesday we get this going. Oklahoma, Texas, a few isolated storms overnight, elevated thunderstorms, those keep going on Thursday. I mean, guidance isn't really robust here, and sometimes it doesn't catch it or pick it up. You know, there's things in the atmosphere that are maybe just a tick or two off here that the guidance doesn't pick up, but look at this. We're already going with the rain on Friday morning and through here, so let's get into that. This is the slight risk day, which certainly could be tweaked even further since it's day three out, but we already get going with active thunderstorms in the morning right in that area where we could flood and where we could get severe. Now, I think this is gonna eventually kind of line up into one big rainy mess, but do we get kind of a pregame into Mississippi over in Alabama? Is this the real tornado severe weather area with individual supercells? Do we get, you know, the QLCS storms along the main line? We'll see how it all develops, but you can see it stays out of Georgia for a good while, so that's why we're worried about flood.
