It may be the happiest time of the year, but for travelers here at LaGuardia, it's also one of the busiest times of the year. And today I spoke with travelers coming to the airport for all kinds of occasions. And so far, travelers are getting lucky. All the flights on the board are currently on time. With that said, there are long lines, especially for people checking bags packed with holiday gifts. TSA is reminding passengers to arrive two hours early for domestic flights, and three hours early for international flights. But always check your airline for specific airport variations. And come prepared, making sure you have a real ID, passport, or another acceptable form of identification. They're also asking travelers to pack smart, and remember that carry-on liquids must be 3.4 ounces or less. I spoke to some passengers who are flying back home to the West Coast, while others are escaping the cold and heading south to the Sunshine State. My flight's not until like 1.30, so I wanted to make sure to come early and make her more comfortable. I'm with my friends. We're gonna go to the beach, have some dinners, have fun. Again, if you're traveling this holiday season, be sure to give yourself enough time to check in and go through security, because you don't want to get caught running through the airport, or worse, missing your flight.
