Important documents, birth certificate, Social Security cards, things like that. Insurance information if you need that physically and don't have just a digital copy of that. Make sure you move to a safe area while you can and stay updated on road conditions. Don't try to move through any flooded roadways. That is the number one thing to keep in mind during the flood. You want to make sure you stay away from flood waters so you don't enter into a dangerous situation, even if it's just a little bit of water and you think you can make it through. Never a good idea that carries after the natural disaster as well, but you want to make sure you avoid any flooded areas, disaster areas, especially where first responders might be working. Any food that was in contact with flood water, really just about anything that was in contact with flood water can have contaminants that has been exposed to, so you want to make sure you discard of those and stay out of buildings where there was flood water until it's deemed safe to get back in.
