Warner Bros. Discovery has rejected the latest takeover bid from Paramount Skydance, which is the parent company of CBS News. The company recommended that shareholders not accept Paramount's offer and instead consider a competing bid from Netflix. 

Although Netflix's offer is reportedly lower in terms of per-share value compared to Paramount's, Warner Bros. Discovery maintains that the overall terms of the Netflix proposal are superior. Paramount's bid was $30 per share, while Netflix's offer is close to $27 per share.

But I want to also now turn to this other news this morning that Warner Brothers has rejected the amended takeover bid by our parent company, CBS News' parent company, Paramount Skydance. What are you hearing about that? And what is the potential that Skydance does not actually win this bidding war? You know, I think it's it comes down to the price. Right. So Warner Brothers has told shareholders not to accept, like you said, Paramount's bid to go instead with Netflix. And what what they're saying is that Netflix's offer is still better when it comes down to it. So Netflix, you know, headline numbers, it might seem like a bit of a lower offer. It's it's close to twenty seven dollars a share for for Warner Bros studios and TV industry, whereas Paramount has offered thirty dollars a share for.
