We spoke the only way we could, on Zoom, with Dr. Mithkal Abutaha, who's in Gaza with Project Hope. It is a tragedy. This is all I can think of. It is a tragedy. The Israeli military said it was a strike against a Hamas terrorist who'd participated in the October 7th massacre, and it regretted any harm to uninvolved individuals. But Project Hope said it was a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. There is no need to, like, target those guys where children and women are seeking the humanitarian. And where the Israeli military knew there was a clinic. Yes, when it was coordinated very well and acknowledged by them. Gazans and Israelis had got their hopes up this week because a ceasefire deal really looked as if it was in reach.
