Anticipation was building outside the U.S. Pettit National Ice Center. The U.S. Olympic trials were back in Wisconsin, and fans were excited to be here. So what are you looking forward to see this weekend? I mean, I've watched speed skating in the Olympics primarily. It's incredible, so I'm looking forward to seeing it live. The line started an hour before the doors opened. The cold weather outside didn't bother this crowd at all. I've never watched speed skating, so I'm like, I'm just so excited to see what it's like, how they move and the form and all that. Inside the Pettit Center, the crowd was electric. It was sold out for all the live action on day one. We came here a few years ago, and now we want to repeat it, and some of my mom's cousins are coming, so they're from Wisconsin, so we're going to just chill and stay here. It's exciting to see all the skaters go by, doing their best. Also in attendance, the 2006 Olympic gold medalist, Shawnee Davis, who is now a coach. I love that it comes back to Milwaukee. I wish there were more competitions that come back to Milwaukee. I feel like the heart and soul of speed skating resides here in Milwaukee. And when the night wrapped up, fans in attendance loved it. Being able to have the Olympic trials here, just right in your backyard, is just awesome. Just the hype, everyone's excited for the Olympics, Team USA, everything, it's great.
