It's forcing Los Rios to cut back on the number of animals in their care and for the farm that specializes in grass fed beef and free range chickens, their impacts on product to Larry says his chickens don't have the greens that they're used to, which can impact the quality of the eggs they produce. It's just not good. I mean, you need moisture for life to survive. And right now, as dry as it is, things are, you know, they're either having to migrate down or or just die. These dry conditions also increasing the risk for disease among the animals, something he's monitoring closely. It's a lot more serious when it is dry versus having snow on the ground. And as the calendar creeps closer to the new year, our hope is that this changes around. But Larry isn't optimistic the weather will turn in his favor. I'm a farmer.
