The United Nations has added nearly 70 more companies to a blacklist of firms from 11 countries that it says are complicit in violating Palestinian human rights through their business ties to Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.

Most of the newly listed companies are based in Israel, with others from countries such as Canada, China, France, Germany, and the United States. Major travel companies like Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb remain on the list, while some firms, including Alstom and Opodo, have been removed. Israel has rejected the list, arguing it unfairly targets companies operating legally, amid ongoing settlement expansion plans.

Large travel-related firms such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor and Airbnb remained on the list. Several companies including Alstom and Opodo were removed. Israel rejects the list outright, saying it unfairly vilifies companies working legally. The update now comes as Israel has made veiled threats to annex parts or all of the West Bank and has approved plans to build thousands of new settlement homes there.
