The crash occurred on December 23, when a Falcon 50 jet carrying the Libyan military delegation crashed shortly after take-off from Ankara, reportedly due to an electrical failure. France, as the aircraft's manufacturer and with a French crew, was excluded from the investigation to maintain neutrality.
