Arrests were conducted in various locations across England, including Greater Manchester. 

Authorities stated the plot was aimed at a single, unnamed site in London, which remains undisclosed for operational reasons. The police have yet to establish if there are links between the alleged plot and Iran. However, Britain's Domestic Intelligence Service recently indicated an increasing threat from individuals connected to Tehran.

In a separate development, three additional Iranian men were arrested in London on suspicion of committing a national security offence. Details of the alleged offences remain scant, with no further information released to the public at this stage.
