They used ladders to climb over our fence, they cut off our electricity, they cut off our cameras and they were being assisted by a helicopter that was hovering in the sky over our compound and providing them light as they were doing what they were doing. Earlier that day, National Police Spokesperson Kitu Marusoke had told a news conference that Wyne was at his home. We have not necessarily denied people from accessing him, but we can also not tolerate instances where people use his premises to gather and cause unnecessary violence or incite violence. Wyne has alleged mass fraud during Thursday's election, which was held under an internet blackout. He has also called on supporters to protest. Election observers in Uganda on Saturday noted their concern over what they said were reports of biased media coverage and internet shutdowns during the election period. The vote has been widely seen as a test of the 81-year-old Museveni's political strength, whose victory extends his rule into a fifth decade.
