Russian journalist Marina Ovsyannikova, best known for staging an on-air protest against Russia's war in Ukraine that saw her charged with spreading 'fake news', has confirmed she has escaped house arrest. She has now been listed as a Russian fugitive. In a video posted to Telegram Ovsyannikova said she was being persecuted for 'telling the truth'.
