Zelensky says Ukraine needs them, and he suggested sending Ukrainian drones to the United States in return. Ukraine has such thousands of our production drones, but we don't have Tomahawks. That's why we need Tomahawks. But President Trump hopes that won't be necessary. Hopefully they won't need it. Hopefully we'll be able to get the war over without thinking about Tomahawks. But to be clear, these Tomahawk missiles would help give Ukraine capabilities that Russia is already employing against Ukraine itself. Trump's meeting with Zelensky comes just one day after his two-and-a-half-hour phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We went through a lot of details. He wants to get it ended. Trump and Putin will meet in the coming weeks in Budapest, Hungary, for talks, which likely would not include President Zelensky. These two leaders do not like each other, and we want to make it comfortable for everybody. So one way or the other, we'll be involved in threes, but it may be separated. But Trump was asked if he is worried Putin only agreed to the meeting to buy time. Yeah, I am. But, you know, I've been played all my life by the best of them. And I came out really well. I think that he wants to make a deal.

The Trump administration is awaiting word from the Supreme Court after asking it to allow the immediate deployment of National Guard troops to Illinois to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. A lower court blocked the move.
